Announcing the 5th Annual The Stars of Summer: A New Format Unveiled
Dear music enthusiasts and aspiring performers,
We are thrilled to announce the 5th Annual The Stars of Summer International Piano and Vocal Competition and Festival in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens! As we embark on this exciting journey into our fifth year, we are introducing a fresh and innovative approach to our main concert event.
In previous years, our competition has attracted participants from various states and countries, each bringing their unique talent and passion for music to the stage. However, we recognize that traveling to Cleveland to take part in two separate concerts has been a significant challenge for participants and their families.
After much deliberation and discussion, we have decided to revamp our format and host one grand event instead of two. Introducing the "Harmony Showcase: A Symphony of Stars" event, which will take place during One World Day on August 25, 2024, in the Russian Cultural Garden.
This new format aims to streamline the competition experience for our participants while still providing an enriching and memorable performance opportunity. By consolidating our main concert into one spectacular event, we hope to alleviate some of the logistical challenges faced by our participants and their families.
We understand the importance of providing a platform for our participants to showcase their talent and hard work, and we believe that the "Harmony Showcase: A Symphony of Stars" will offer just that. This event will feature performances from all the winners of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes, as well as special prizes, creating a harmonious celebration of music and talent.
Additionally, we are excited to announce the details for the Concerto 2024 segment of the competition. Participants will have the opportunity to submit one movement of the Anniversary Concerto by A. Peskanov, accompanied by the second piano with omitted orchestral solos. Selected winners will have the honor of performing their movement with the orchestra at the "Harmony Showcase: A Symphony of Stars" event.
The deadline for submissions is July 31, 2024, and winners will be notified on August 12, 2024. We encourage all aspiring pianists and vocalists, aged 5 and above, from all nationalities, to participate in this prestigious event.

The Stars of Summer Piano and Vocal Competition and Festival offers a unique opportunity for young musicians from all over the world to showcase their talents and compete on an international stage. With a single round of video submissions, the competition ensures that all musicians have an equal chance to participate, regardless of their location.
Monetary prizes and special awards, including invitations to perform in professional productions for a fee, await the winners. As part of the festival, advanced students can compete in the Piano Concerto category and have the chance to perform with the Snowbelt Symphony orchestra, featuring the Anniversary Concerto by A.Peskanov. This exclusive experience adds a level of prestige to the event and offers young pianists the opportunity to showcase their skills and play with an orchestra.
By participating in the competition, all contestants have the opportunity to perform live in front of a large audience at the Laureates Concert during the main event of the year – One World Day Celebration in the Cultural Gardens of Cleveland.
Additionally, the competition proudly partners with The Global Stage, an alliance of prestigious musical competitions from around the world, providing participants with the opportunity to potentially earn invitations to the finals of competitions such as Stars of the Albion in London, UK, and BMTG INTERCONTINENTAL MUSIC COMPETITION Music of Immortal and Living Composers in New York, NY, USA, and to perform in famous venues such as the various halls in London and Carnegie Hall in New York.
